The Cheese Bread is a typical Brazilian preparation, being found in recipes books in all regions of Brazil. Its basic ingredients are manioc starch, eggs and cheese. The main characteristics of this product are the crunchiness of the crust and the softness of the dough, it also has a very pleasant cheese and manioc flavor. It is usually eaten as an appetizer in restaurant with tea and specially with a delicious cup of coffee.
The yoki Cheese Bread is very easily done and it doesn't demand special skills. It has a great taste as if it was a homemade cheese bread.
It's very easy to make Brazillian Pao De Queijo using the YOKI Pao De Queijo Mix. If you don't understand the instructions on the packaging which is in Portuguese, here's how it's done:
In a mixing bowl, pour the contents of a YOKI Pao De Queijo Mix and add 2 eggs and 1/2 cup water. Make a dough. Divide into 8 - 12 balls. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees. Take them out and let them cool for about 5 minutes or so, and they're ready to serve! They're the best when they're fresh out of the oven.
